difficult hobby to pursue. No more hassles in collecting
Stamps. Your requirements of philatelic items can be obtained
from the nearest Philatelic Bureau listed below by either
placing Mail Order or Opening a Philatelic Deposit Account.
All you need to do is to fill in the application form
available in any one of the Philatelic Bureaux and mail it to
the concerned Postmaster along with minimum initial deposit of
Rs.200/- by Cash / Money Order / Cheque / DD.

The old
Warwick Theatre was the first electric cinema
theatre in Chennai which started regular commercial
shows in 1900. This theatre which is located in the
premises of Anna Road Head Post Office has been
renovated to make it the venue for regular
philatelic exhibitions.
This exclusive Philatelic Exhibition Hall was
inaugurated on April 13, 2003 by the then
Minister of State for Communications & Information
Technology. The
Department is conducting regular exhibition
on different philatelic themes throughout the year.
